Raw Coconut Yogurt

Raw Coconut Yogurt

Simple and classic. This one uses Live Probiotics to get the yogurt started, but you can use any starter you want.

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 to 1 Cup Raw Young Thai Coconut Water
  • 16 Oz Raw Young Thai Coconut Meat
  • Probiotic powder (2 capsules worth)
Directions:
  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  2. Empty into a clean container and place a lid gently on top. Leave a little bit of room at the top for the mixture to expand.
  3. Leave on he shelf up to 16 hours, depending how warm it is outside and how "funky" you like your yogurt. Feel free to test as you go until you get just the right flavor.
  4. To stop the fermentation process, just place into the refrigerator to store.

What can you do with this simple yogurt? I'm glad you asked!
  • Add berries, of course! Either blended together or whole on top.
  • You can add it to granola or to any of your raw desserts.
  • Use it as a smoothie base.
  • Top special drinks with them or freeze them into "Coco Pops."
  • And of course, it's just great on its own.
