As promised, here is a recipe for a tropical delight. Someday we will sell little paper umbrellas at Coco-Jack.com specifically for this drink!
Basically, take your Coconut Kefir and mix in some combination of frozen bananas, pineapples, strawberries, mangoes, and coconut flakes (or Fresh Thai Coconut!). A drop of lime will give it some extra pep, and blend, baby blend.
The Kefir should make it bubbly, but you can also add ice give it that Cabana feel.
Here's a starting recipe. You can mix and match from here!
- 1 Medium Frozen Banana (peel before you freeze - you'll figure out why :))
- 1 1/2 Cups Freshly Cut Pineapple
- 1 Cup Coconut Kefir
- 3-4 Tbsp Unsweetened Coconut Flakes OR Fresh or Dehydrated Young Thai Coconut Meat
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Ice
By the way. . .there's no reason you can't serve this up right inside your empty Coconut! Give it a whirl!
